Butterfly Tree

What we do: The Butterfly Tree charity supports rural communities in Zambia decimated by the HIV and AIDS pandemic providing safe water, feeding programs, improved health and education facilities and an orphan sponsorship program. The entire charity both in the UK and Zambia is run by volunteers, which enables all funds raised to go directly into grassroots projects.

We need volunteers to: Benefits for the charity - introducing new skills, assisting at schools, which are always short of teachers, provided professional help at clinics, IT skills, construction of classrooms and houses.

Non-cash donations needed: Please contact the school or clinic.

Other useful information: The Butterfly Tree is a charity and not a volunteer business. However we welcome dedicated and committed people to volunteer for the charity at Mukuni Village, seven kilometres from the mighty Victoria Falls. Unlike businesses there is no charge for this opportunity though we do ask participants if they would like to give a donation to one of our many projects or take with them to Zambia items for the school or clinic.
