Center for Development and Capacity Building (CDCB)

Who we are: 
Centre for Development and Capacity Building (CDCB) is a local think-thank civil-society established in April 2012 in Ethiopia. The idea was initiated by a group of practitioners, civic organization leaders and academia with the view of working in partnership with regional states and local governments. The prime objective of the Center (CDCB) is to support regional states and their respective local governments through independent and external professional inputs in scientific research, expertise advisory services and tailor-made capacity building trainings.

Strengthening Regional States institutions, empowering local governments, and officials; for sustainable development and justice through research and Capacity Building trainings. Above all, the mission of the Center is to make a difference through partnership with the existing institutions.

The Center needs professionals in the area of research and capacity building with especially in the area of local government, sustainable development, Peace building, Urbanization, and resource mobilization etc.

Volunteers of Centers for Development and Capacity Building (CDCB) will performance according to the rule and procedures of the organization. Do not accept individuals practicing issues unacceptable in Ethiopian culture (e.g. using drug). We review the credential of the volunteer and conduct interview first.
