Who we are:
Toxics Link is an environmental NGO, dedicated to bring toxics related information into the public domain, both relating to struggles and problems at the grassroots as well as global information to the local levels. We work with other groups around the country as well as internationally in an understanding that this will help bring the experience of the ground to the fore, and lead to a more meaningful articulation of issues.
Type of knowledge or skills needed:
As a volunteer with Toxics Link, you will not be slotted into rigid roles. Based your skill sets and interests, you could be doing any of the following: Project-based primary and secondary research on the various themes, Community mobilisation on model community waste management project in Delhi, Developing creative presentations for the programme teams, Writing articles on various environmental issues for our publications. Event management (coordinate training programmes, environmental film screenings, photo exhibitions, public lectures, etc).
