Hostal Andoriña & Organic farm Chorolquemanta, Samaipata, Bolivia

Who we are: Andoriña has been founded by Andrés (Dutch) and Doriña (Samaipata) and is now one of Samaipata's nicest hostels. We always need a volunteer for at least 5-6 weeks, room, private bathroom and breakfast included, kitchen, no fee. The other option is volunteering on an organic farm which now exists only three years, 35 minutes drive from town in the cloud forest area. For this people need reasonable experience in (some) areas like gardening, permaculture, forestry, biology, etc.

Type of knowledge or skills needed: For the hostel: English and more than basic Spanish. Open minded, cultural, likes to take initiatives, flexible, see website for all details.

For the organic ´finca´: people should speak and understand also at least reasonable Spanish, as there lives a young man who only speaks Spanish and Quechua. All facilities like kitchen, beds, ecotoilet are available, see further website.

Non-cash donations:
for the hostel: no fee
for the farm: at the moment voluntary contribution (4 hours working daily, rest is free time, people should take most of their food from the local market)

Languages spoken at charity: Spanish, English, Quechua
