Who we are:
Southern Districts Support Association (SDSA) is a not-for-profit organisation that provides services to people affected by frailty, disability or mental health issues living within Perth's south-east corridor. Our aim is to assist people to continue to remain living in their own homes with dignity and respect.
Type of knowledge or skills needed:
SDSA could not operate as effectively without the enthusiastic support of our fantastic volunteers. Volunteers assist in a number of areas including: - Office Assistance: Volunteers help out with administration duties. - Medical Transport: Our Transport Department is operated with the use of volunteer drivers. If you would like to join our drivers, we require you have a "C" class license. - Lawn and Gardening: Our Centre's lawn and garden area is kept clean with the use of volunteer personnel. Without their help our Centre would not look as good as it does. - Senior Friendship Group: Our Centre is operated with the use of volunteers who help out doing a variety of jobs throughout the day.
