White Ribbon Australia

Who we are:
White Ribbon is the world's largest male-led movement to end men's violence against women. White Ribbon Australia is a non-profit organisation and Australia's only national, male-led primary prevention campaign to end men’s violence against women. Through primary prevention initiatives and an annual campaign, White Ribbon Australia seeks to change the attitudes and behaviours that lead to and perpetuate men’s violence against women, by engaging boys and men to lead social change.

Any further information the volunteer should know?:
The simplest thing you can do is to wear a white ribbon on November 25 and for the weeks leading up to the day. Wearing a white ribbon is a personal pledge that the wearer does not excuse violence against women, and is committed to supporting community action to stop violence by men against women. Men who wear a white ribbon demonstrate their opposition to violence against women and their commitment to equality between women and men.
